    Kateri Chambers is currently performing and teaching throughout New England. She can be heard singing in a variety of venues with repertoire ranging from Sondheim to sea shanties, airs de cours to rock. Her trio The Syrens performs Andrews Sisters close harmoney as well as old takes on new hits. She offers private lessons through her home studio in Boston as well as in-home lessons through Musika.

    Kateri serves as music director for the Connecticut Renaissance Faire, recently directed a production of Hildegard von Bingen's Ordo Virtutum with Ensemble Musica Humana, and is producing a concert version of a Mozart opera with Grand Harmonie.

    Kateri holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from Boston University in Historical Performance. Previously, she studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (MMus--Dr. Stephen Preston) and the Peabody Conservatory (BM--Colin St Martin). While working on her studies, she was heard performing with many Early Music ensembles (Boston University Baroque Orchestra, Guildhall Baroque, Guildhall Renaissance, Peabody Renaissance Ensemble, Peabody Broken Consort, Peabody Baroque, and Baltimore Baroque Band).

     Kateri hails from the San Francisco Bay Area where she studied voice with Joseph Bloom. She continued her vocal studies in the studios of Daniel Holmes and Dr. Lori Lind-Holmes.
